Hours: Flexible- pre agreed- Business core hours 8am to 5pm
Salary: £12.50 p/h basic, with % commission structure on sales
Role Overview:
The Pettit Group is a construction based group of companies carrying out Highways, Industrial, Commercial and Domestic installations of water, drainage and solar electric utilities are seeking a Sales Exec that will play a crucial sales role in our group of construction brands including:
· Electric Avenues (Solar, Battery and EV Charge Point installers)
· Fire & Black ( HETAS Woodstove installers)
· PCM Groundworks (Domestic Driveways, Drop Kerbs and Patio installers)
· PETTIT Contracting (Commercial Civils, Car Parks, Drainage, Paving)
Our group’s domestic and commercial division’s brands specialise in solar panel, battery storage, EV charge points, driveway, patio and wood stove installations for domestic and commercial property owners. This role involves collecting email, office calls, social media message and WhatsApp received sales leads from marketing promotions and coordinating between prospective customers and our design, estimating, and pricing surveyors to progress and complete sales.
This is a high energy sales co-ordination role that will need impeccable time management and customer relation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and manage sales leads generated from marketing promotions.
- Arrange site measures for surveyors/estimators to attend
- Coordinate communication between customers and the company's estimators.
- Facilitate the sales process from initial inquiry to final sale completion.
- Ensure timely follow-up with leads to maintain customer interest and satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing and presenting sales proposals and quotations.
- Track and report on sales progress and outcomes via company Customer Relationship Management software
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including post install feedback.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Requirements:
- Eagerness to learn above all else.
- Confident and polite phone manner
- Telesales experience preferable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Knowledge of our services before interview.
